UPDATED: JUN 28, 2012 Tasty! Can be considered as a light IPA! Hops is citrus! Nice beer to take on a hot day without the inconvenience of calling a cab after drinking it!

On tap. Pours dark golden/brown, with some white head. Aroma: not too much to say. Taste: citrus, hops, water. Not too bad, but not very good either. Not enough flavors, lack of character.

butterscotch, toffee, citrus, quite bitter for a light beer. Very good a session ale.

[3874-20110808] Tap. Floral fruit aroma. Slightly hazy, orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Resin hops floral flavour has a lingering bitterness. Medium body is quite bitter. Good balance. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5

473ml can. The interesting leafy noble-English-hop profile is pretty much stealing the show here. The malt backbone offers some distant cookie notes but it is either a little shy or, probably, clouded by the hops, but the beer still feels quite balanced. And enjoyable. And easy to drink. And with a long dry aftertaste... Very good light stuff. And I’m happy with the price I paid: 11,99$ for 4 cans of 473ml, or 3,29$ each. It’s funny but I don’t often see, in Québec, 500 ml micro-brewery bottles sold at such a low price; they’re often 3,99$ and even more often 4,99$ each. I think I can let go 27ml for the price difference. But this might be this brewer’s most pleasant offering, though...

2011-08-08. Lightly hazy orange amber body with an off white head. 3+ Flavour is pleasantly hoppy, modest citrus notes up front and moderate bitterness throughout. 6+ Modes hoppy aroma, mild grass and green leafy hop character. Light notes of lemon citrus. Average bodied palate. Simple but enjoyable, possibly my favourite of those I tried today. On tap at the brewpub, Levis

On tap at the brewpub. Nice gold pour with white head. Aroma is hoppy, kind of spicy hoppiness, black pepper, a bit of spruce. Taste has that sprucey bitterness, some caramel also present. The mix of hops is very nice - not particularly golding forward like a lot of bitters. Well carbonated, good finish. This is a superb session ale IMO, flavorful for the ABV. I could drink it all night.

Can - 473ml. Hazy amber body with a thick, diminishing off-white frothy head. Its fresh, well balanced malty/hoppy aroma is rather thin. It carries some grassy and flowery hints. Decent hoppy taste with woody notes. Ends with a good bitter finish. Not bad at all.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2011 473mL can from Broue Ha Ha. Pours a hazy, muddy copper with a massive beige head. Aroma has some candy sugar, faint British malts, some yeast and not much else. Flavour has all the above, with some decent residual hop flavour. The highly active effervescence makes it somewhat harder to drink than something I would expect at 3.8% abv, but it’s not awful. I probably wouldn’t get this again, but it was at least somewhat enjoyable.
