One of the best beers I ever had in can, 473ml for 3,99 at Peluso. Very hoppy and intense leafy hoppiness, notes of sweetness and fruits. Better than À l’abri de la Tempête’s Terre Ferme, that I tryed just before. Promissing since it is the first I have from this brewer. Good job, here!

A light amber ale with a lacing creamy white head. A grassy herbal pale ale, pungent, lightly hoppy. In mouth, a classy ale reminiscent of British pubs, with lightly herbaceous green hops. Very successful. On tap at brewpub, August 3, 2008.

Arome de houblon floral. Au goût, un houblon terreux prend le dessus sur un léger goût de miel/caramel. Très bien fait. Représente bien une bonne pale ale anglaise.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2010 473ml can from Peluso. Pours clear pale amber with medium head. Short retention. Nose of malt, hops. Not very good aroma. Taste is hops and malt. Not very good overall. Hops are flowery and grassy, not my type of hops.
On cask at brewery
Aroma : Citrusy hops, very light. A tony bit resinous with hints of pine
Taste : Piny and citrusy hops.
Overall : This was very light but intensly drinkable and refreshing. This beer is meant to be drank on cask. Over from 13-15. Taste 6-7

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2012 Canette 473 ml. 4.9%. Arome d’herbes/houblon. Couleur dorée. Carbonisation moyenne, assez de mousse. Assez légère et mince en bouche, la finale est légèrement amer. Se boit bien.

473 ml can. Pours a cloudy amber color with a thick white head. Pleasant aroma of floral, greenish hops with caramel malt. The hops flavor is more powerfull than expected, the hops are floral, greenish, herbal, there’s also a presence of caramel malt and bitterness in the end. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Nicely done.

[3870-20110808] Tap. Leafy fruit aroma. Clear, pale orange amber body with a quick foamy white head. Lightly hopped lemon drops flavour has a mice bitter bread finish. Medium body. Good balance. (6/3/7/4-/14) 3.4

My Bottom Line:
This English-style Pale Ale employs honeyed biscuity malts to offset leafy, earthy hops, as discreet diacetyl dons a caramelly mask throughout.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam lines the clear pale orange.
-The use of traditional English ingredients is obvious here; only thing left to do is put it on cask (and the brewer will surely do it soon).
-That inherent touch of diacetyl is well levelled, but might bother those very sensitive to it.
-The hops are nicely bitter, even adding peppery notes.

On tap at the brewpub.
