Sample tray. Alcohol and light caramel scent. Flavour is cloves, alcohol and caramel. Not pleasant, too much spice.

My Bottom Line:
Orange peel, cloves and black pepper allusions round out the spice bouquet of this doughy and clever Belgian-style Strong Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear orangey copper.
-Bubblegummy phenols also protruded in the nose.
-Herbal hop bitterness follows the spice wave.
-Even though the spices are expressive throughout, I never found them too intense.
-Lean caramel sweetness is about all the malts contribute.
