A blonde to golden beer with a thin white head. In aroma, fruity esters, light berries, cloves, very belgian inspiration. In mouth, a smooth light fruity malt with light coriander, a bit oily mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, not bad. On tap at brewery, Nov. 6 2010.

A murky mahogany pour culminating with a gentle white, 1cm lasting head. I must say this was not the pub’s tastiest on the early december night I visited. While the rye does show up, it feels a bit muddy at first, not particularly integrated, though it evolves toward a spicy and very cerealic second half which is deftly accompanied by a fair fruity foundation. Disturbing those flavours a bit is a rather spritzy carbonation. Almost no place is offered to hops which could have added an additional kick in this subtle strawberry/cereals melting pot.
