Over-Carbonated at sight, lots of bubbles making it looks like Canada dry Ginger Ale....Nothing interresting for both your eyes and your nose. But this beer is better than what the ratings showcase. Typical malty-biscuity, slight hints of caramel. Very refreshing taste, everything a nice summer pilsner should be. Bravo Le Corsaire, you actually did a very well balanced "on target" beer.

3,99$ for a 473ml can at Peluso. Pretty good "take-out-to-your-home" Québec pilsner. Everything in there is in subtilities, the aroma, the cerealish light maltiness, the citrusy twist, the herbal grassy hopping. Very drinkable and enjoyable; warm day stuff but I could drink that on a regular basis. I disagree with Fred82’s rating; there are not a lot of pilsners bottled in Québec. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Belle Gueule brews a boring one, don’t tell me about Labatt Blue, and le Maitre-Brasseur and Bièropholie don’t brew theirs anymore (or it seems so)... What I am getting to is that this might be the best Québec pilsner I can bring home! Of course, until Elixir Céleste and Cerna Hora are bottled... Still, bravo, Le Corsaire! ADDED: two recent cans had a sour-thing, pretty displeasing, that either I hadn’t notice at first or those beers got infected somehow. Another bad can and the score will drop, pretty much.

473ml can. Pours clear yellow, short head, short retention. Aroma is very faint. Some malt, some hops. Taste is the same. Finish is slightly bitter and malty. Carbonation is close to non-existent.Very drinkable indeed but there are much better Quebec micros bottled pilsner available. I suspect it was better on tap.

473 ml can. Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is restrained, I can smell some malt, but not much hops. The flavor has a well-balanced blend of crisp, malt, some honeyish sweetness and hops, it feels quite clean and refreshing. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. Interesting.
