tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Oct 27, 2006 Light, sweet, juicy and fruity aroma. Cloudy amber-brown body is topped by an anemic white head that recedes instantly to ring. Tart acidity cuts through the fruity sweetness but there’s not a lot about this that makes me want another one. Very dry with little or no malt character. Medium light body is watery with very strong carbonation that jack hammers the tongue. Sampled at Mondial 2006. heemer77 (3827), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jul 12, 2006 Sampled at Mondial 2006. The beer was vloudy orange and yellow with an off white head. The aroma was sweet and fruity with some definite apple. There was also some wood. The taste was sprisigly dry with sour cherries and some hay.The body was too crispn carbonation for me. Lubiere (3410), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jun 25, 2006 Updated: Jul 27, 2008Orange amber ale with a thin white head. A very sweet pineapple aroma, like an hawaian pizza or ham. In mouth, a sweet malt with strong pineapple and maple notes. A boring fruit beer. Mondial 2006. 6-3-5-2-9

Bottle July 26 2008. Oranger amber ale with a very thin white head. Aroma of stale water and light berries, light decomposition. In mouth, a sourish lactic concoction with light berry notes, astringent in mouth, probably infected. Bottle from a friend....oh well. 5-3-5-2-8 blankboy (2687), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 2, 2008 Bottle (500ml). First off I must say, $5.99 a bottle is way too much for this! Now, onto the rating: Pours a murky bubbly dark copper with an average size diminishing off-white head. Aroma of blackberries, a bit tart and sweet, somewhat fake smelling but not bad -- doesn’t really have any beer qualities to it though. Flavour of tart blackberries with a sourness (not in a good way) or ’metal’-ness to it and an aftertaste that leaves a little to be desired -- not very good at all. Light to average bodied. This doesn’t resemble a beer and it isn’t any good -- drainpour it is.
