Le Grimoire Armure

Sampled at Mondial 2006. The beer was vloudy orange and yellow with an off white head. The aroma was sweet and fruity with some definite apple. There was also some wood. The taste was sprisigly dry with sour cherries and some hay.The body was too crispn carbonation for me.

Sample, at the Mondial de la bière, savoured June 2 2006; eye: dark gold, no effervescence, not much head; nose: hops, caramel; mouth: hops, malt, finale all in bitterness with a hint of grapefruit, light acridness, average bitterness, medium body, slightly oily texture FRANÇAIS Échantillon, bue au Mondial de la bière, savourée le 2 juin 2006; oeil : doré foncé, pas d’effervescence, peu de mousse; nez : houblon, caramel; bouche : houblon, malt, finale toute en amertume avec une pointe de pamplemousse, légèrement âcre, amertume moyenne, corps moyen, texture légèrement huileuse

(Dégusté avec french tickler) Une biere ambré-rouille avec un tres tres mince collet non collant. Odeur d’épinette, de sucre, fruit loops, mures, bonbon. Gout tres fort de bonbon, mures, bluet. Une biere tres speciale et fruité.

Sampled at the mondial, hazy amber hue, with a white head, yeasty sweet blackberry, with a wildberry fruitiness too, hint of spiciness, and floral hops in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, blackberry fruitiness character, caramelized malt, hint of floral hops, leading towars a tart acidic fruitiness finish.

Bon gout de mure. Pas trop amer. Acre un peu comme arrêre goût. Je préfère une biere moins fruité.
