Again that fruity sweetness is prevalent, but this time it is joined by disparate spiciness...Earthy yeast roams aloof within the wet, slick and malty mouthfeel...Like the 2 other beers I had, this one possesses no head at all and no lacing...Maybe that’s something else which could be improved, a link with the fact that it tastes unfinished?...

Sampled at the brewpub with MartinT, tiggmtl, Taktik MTL in the company of the brewers...very dark, opaque muddy-brown...dark fruity (cherry) nose...bit of port wine and unfermented fruit juice in the flavor...fairly strong carbonation, and a bit thin...as others have noted, seems unfinished; similar problems with the other 2 samples.

Wine-like, grapey, mildly sweet aroma. Muddy amber-brown and opaque with thin tan fully-diminishing head. Fair huskiness in the flavour, lightly vinous with a chalky mouthfeel. Fair carbonation. Again, I’d suspect a problem with the yeast or perhaps the fermentation temperature and watch for over-sparging or sparging at too high temperature. On tap at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Taktik MTL.

(Bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a moderate, quickly dissipating off-white head. Aroma of mustiness, corn grain, nuts, and caramel. Flavor of caramel and ice tea with a thin, watery mouthfeel.

Sampled at Mondial 2006. Poured with a cloudy medium orange body. The head was light peach colored. The aroma was bready with toffee and some candy. There was also some apple. The taste was slightly hoppy with oranges and grapefruit. A little bread also. Boring more than anything.
