marioadam (10), Canada Jun 18, 2007 La Grimousse a su me mettre au courant de ce que pouvait être une bonne bière et pour ce fait m’a permis de découvrir une façon nouvelle d’aimer encore plus les bières des microbrasseries. HogTownHarry (3186), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jun 27, 2007 Bottle (341ml). Via trade with Viper666. Clear copper with an average fizzy head. Has a very malty, almost scotch ale aroma - very sweet, like hallowe’en caramel candies, hint of floral hops - I like it. Taste follows, lots of slightly burnt caramel candy, with some peat or earthy character joining in - not much alcohol presence. Sticky, thick body, not much carbonation, bit of a bitter/burnt aftertaste. Pretty decent - too thick to be an amber, but what else to call it? Scotch Ale? Snoro (183), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Mar 28, 2007 Updated: Jun 9, 2007Arôme fumé. Couleur sirop d’érable. Un peu âcre. Un goût de fumé. Accompagnerait une viande sur grill.
