on tap at Le Saint Bock. Aroma is loaded with chocolate, hazelnut, coffe, brownies, and a touch of burnt malt. The flavour is very much the same, this is like a liquified brownie! Wow..........such a nice treat for a desert beer.

Belle couleur très noire, bon arôme grillé, aucun arrière-goût amer. On dirait un goût de pomme mêlé à ce délice. Elle est meilleure, moins amère non brasser à mon goût. (Ne mélangez pas la lie)

Mondial de la Bière de Montréal; I personally don’t understand the low notation of this beer. Maybe I was influenced by the beautiful girls that served me the beer, but I just don’t understand. Nice coffee aroma with thin head, dark beer, chocolate and coffee taste, sweet stout that is pratically refreshing (this is rare for a stout).

On tap at Le saint Bock, Montreal. Black, but mahogany at the edges. Thin tan head, scanty lace. This had the most incredible aroma! Sweet cherry pipe/cigar tobacco, chocolate, coffee. The richness of aroma is awesome-- I could smell this all day! Palate is surprisingly on the thin side, with nice flavours of chocolate, tobacco, port wine, figgy fruit. Dry finish. More like an amazing old-school porter than anythiing. I loved it!

<b>Bottle &#40;341ml&#41;</b>. <i>Shared with blankboy and garthicus, my bottle via trade with Viper666</i>. Lovely pour - thick brown-black, oily, dark brown creamy head &#40;5-&#41;. Incredible aroma - garthicus said "comforting" - and I concur - lush, redolent, like a dark chocolate biscuit with yeasty deep roast malt, hints of cream and graham cracker, a whiff of mint. The taste is a little surprising, thin and sour which is a total surprise after the aroma, but still nicely roasty, hints of coffee and baker’s chocolate, quite bitter in the finish. Love that aroma!
