Dark brown with ruby tint, off white head. Really very sweet for me, it’s a bit like fermented blackcurrant with background alcohol, but it steadies into a fairly decent beer, rich and fruity throughout and warming. Not bad. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2005 Bottled. A brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity with raisins and malts. The taste is more of the same and a nice brown bread note comes through together with the alcohol. Quite dubbelish in some ways, and nicely tasty.
