COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330ml bottle from beer shop in Troyes. Malty sweet with alcohol depth and live yeast character. Very pleasant.

Bottle conditioned, 330ml from Biere et Biere, Thaons les Vosges, France. Dark brown with ruby tint, off white head. Really very sweet for me, it’s a bit like fermented blackcurrant with background alcohol, but it steadies into a fairly decent beer, rich and fruity throughout and warming. Not bad.

from Village de la Bière, Strasbourg; brewed by De Proef - cloudy reddish-brown colour under a foamy beige head; nice lace, aroma of bread and mango; good malt body, some sweetness and a solid carbonation; tart and moderately bitter; very dry and long fruity and bready finish

33cl bottle:poured a cloudy brown with a full rich light beige head. Mild aroma of dark fruits like figs and raisins. Flavor is quite rich with more dark fruits and some caramel. I think this beer rocks. Full flavored and goes down nicely.

Dark, brown color. Strong, malty and yeasty aroma. Some malt, quite dry mouthfeel, mix of caramel and strong liquorice. Rough.

Bottled. A brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity with raisins and malts. The taste is more of the same and a nice brown bread note comes through together with the alcohol. Quite dubbelish in some ways, and nicely tasty.
