Dec 21, 2009 Bottle conditioned, 330ml from Biere et Biere, Thaons les Vosges, France. Dark brown with ruby tint, off white head. Really very sweet for me, it’s a bit like fermented blackcurrant with background alcohol, but it steadies into a fairly decent beer, rich and fruity throughout and warming. Not bad.

Sep 21, 2007 33cl bottle:poured a cloudy brown with a full rich light beige head. Mild aroma of dark fruits like figs and raisins. Flavor is quite rich with more dark fruits and some caramel. I think this beer rocks. Full flavored and goes down nicely.

Feb 19, 2006 Dark, brown color. Strong, malty and yeasty aroma. Some malt, quite dry mouthfeel, mix of caramel and strong liquorice. Rough.

Dec 8, 2005 Bottled. A brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity with raisins and malts. The taste is more of the same and a nice brown bread note comes through together with the alcohol. Quite dubbelish in some ways, and nicely tasty.
