Pours a dark slightly hazy orange-brown with a thick off-white head. Nose is herbal with bog myrtle notes. Some caramel malts too. Taste is strong piney bitterness with spicy herbs. Almost soapy. Long sharp herbal bitterness. Nutty malts and dry finish. High carbonation. Interesting take on a DIPA but a stronger malt backbone would better balance the bitterness.

500ml bottle. This ended up tasting like an herbal, pine and sprucey IPA, but a little different. Whatever weird ingredients they used recreated that kind of hop profile, but not using hops I think. Whatever they did, it works and this is worth a try.

50 cl bottle.
Pours orange color with a large head. Herbal and slightly floral aroma, grassy and somewhat fruity. Quite weird herbal flavor, tangy wooden notes, fruits and some toffee maybe. A bit thin and weird, nice aroma though.

500 ml bottle. Pours a copper colour with a chunky white head. Aroma of red berries, floral notes, biscuit and dough. Flavour of crisp floral bitterness, grapefruit, strong berries, dough, biscuity maltiness and basil. Surprisingly thin mouthfeel. A bit harsh mouthfeel. Weird.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht fruchtig, hopfig, grasig, floral. Geschmack fruchtig, malzig, Minze, bitter hopfig, süß fruchtige Minze im Abgang, gut!

Pour is dark gold with a big frothy two-finger cap. Great retention and lacing. Nose is pine/spruce, flowers, citrus, light tea. Taste is a nice caramel malt with flowers, citrus, soap, steeped tea and spice. Finish is bitter, with pine and light spiciness. This was bottled seven months ago so I’d imagine it’s even nicer when the hops are fresh.

Bottle (500 ml). Bottled on 19 August 2014. Shared by Fux, thanks! Clear copper with a small white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is of spruce, herbs, light fruitiness and herbal notes. Taste is of spruce, resinous, hernal presence, light fruitiness and light spiciness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Sirupy mouthfeel. Lingering spruce finish. Very hard to drink because of the spruce and spiciness. Lack of balance.

500ml from Broue Ha Ha in Gatineau, Quebec. Clear copper in colour with a large white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is floral, herbal and spicy, caramel malts. The flavour is quite bitter, floral, soapy, caramel malts, herbal and spicy. Very bitter and very long finish. Pretty good.
