Pour is dark gold with a big frothy two-finger cap. Great retention and lacing. Nose is pine/spruce, flowers, citrus, light tea. Taste is a nice caramel malt with flowers, citrus, soap, steeped tea and spice. Finish is bitter, with pine and light spiciness. This was bottled seven months ago so I’d imagine it’s even nicer when the hops are fresh.

Bottle (500 ml). Bottled on 19 August 2014. Shared by Fux, thanks! Clear copper with a small white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is of spruce, herbs, light fruitiness and herbal notes. Taste is of spruce, resinous, hernal presence, light fruitiness and light spiciness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Sirupy mouthfeel. Lingering spruce finish. Very hard to drink because of the spruce and spiciness. Lack of balance.

500ml bottle, label calls it a double ipa. Aroma is super earthy, lots of caramel malts and alot of distinct bog myrtle. Mouth feel and carb are fine. The finish is very bitter, it lingers and last a long time with a slight resinous pine and alot more myrtle.

Bottle, shared with Robbie. Medium orange with a lasting off white head. Intriguing floral aroma with sweet fruit undertones, almost grape-like. The palate delivers lightly caramelized malts with a fragrant floral hop character that quickly moves into a pithy bitterness. I don’t know what is in this (my ability to read french is sadly limited), but I really liked it.
