On tap at L’Autre Oeil (Gatineau, Qc). Hazy amber body with a thin white creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with nutty and caramel hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries woody and flowery notes. Ends with a good bitter/herbal finish. Not bad.

On tap at Le Naufrageur,summer 2012.The color is a clear dark amber with a very thin beige head. The aroma is of citrus fruits and hops. The taste also of citrus fruits,hops plus a veggy taste to it. It is an O.K. beer but not an I.P.A. that I would have again sorry.

Drank on tap (20 oz) at the brewpub on July 13, 2012. Light copper, thin head. Labrador tea aroma a little sweet, a little hoppy. Labrador tea dominates the taste, the hops are very dry, very bitter. It’s should not be an IPA but a LPA (Labrador Pale Ale)!

Un liquide orangé et sa tête mousseuse qui laisse derrière son passage une large dentelle. Un verre bu au Saint-Bock. Un nez attaqué par des pamplemousses qui sont jeunes et vigoureux. Des notes florales et des extraits de pin. Une base maltée déficiente : aucune trace caramélisée et aucune présence mielleuse. Des malts qui se dessinent plutôt sous un aspect granuleux. Des saveurs de pamplemousse fraîchement pressé. Des notes de savon et de résine. Une acidité tranchante et une amertume qui prend énormément (et trop) d’espace. Encore une fois, un abandon des malts sucrés. Des traces évidentes de grains. Une bouche de faible densité avec un bon apport de bulles et une texture râpeuse. Une finale orchestrée par des notes amères assez intenses et persistantes. Une première pour moi et, sans aucun doute, une dernière.

A beautiful orange copper amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice citrus marmelade with light sweet candy hearts, cinnamon notes. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with pihnhey herbal hops, treacle, a bit of alcohol warmth, nutty, pretty nice. On tap at Vices et Versa, Nov. 26 2011.

on tap. clear golden-orange with a nice off-white head, good retention, some lacing. light toasted malts, strawberry hops. cardboard, light to medium citrusy-strawberry hopping. average carbonation, light body - slightly lacking, big long-lasting grapefruit finish. decent.

Caramel, cassonade avec une amertume presque mentholée. Finale d’agrumes légère.

Pratiquement limpide, d’un beau cuivré, col beige, grumeleux et abondant. Des arômes de résine, de miel, d’alcool sur un fond "océanique". Agréablement sucrée, notes d’umami. Sur une effervescence fine, un corps moyen, une texture onctueuse et une longue fin un peu astringente.
