Collaborative brew between Brouhaha and Naufrageur. A cognac coloured dark copper with a thin moka head. In aroma, freshly mashed grain, with nutella, maple spread and butterscotch. In mouth, a quasi barley wine like ale with sweet vanilla malt, smooth and sweet, a bit simple but good. On tap at Brouhaha, April 22 2011.

[bottle at DwEEBs meeting] Toast and coffee aroma with sweet hazlenut. Clear dark brown-red with a lacy, tawny, off-white cover. Sweet roasted barley and raisins with some tobacco and spicy yeasty finish. Slightly phenolic. Balanced toward sweet but still with a dry finish. Good bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish.

Cruchon 1,82L.
