Verre de 20 oz, au Pub Brouhaha. Arômes de houblon résineux et floral. Robe dorée, légère mousse et effervescence moyenne. Moyennement ronde en bouche, les céréales appuient un houblon résineux et floral. Légère touche sucrée de caramel et finale plutôt amère. Une APA très bien faite.

On tap at Brouhaha. The color is amber with a thin beige head. The taste is of hops and cereal and herbs. Also in the mouth the taste of fruits. The aftertaste is beitter thus the hops. Not that impresive as an A.P.A..

Clear copper med carbonation small white head. A: citrusy, piny, caramel, almost candy. T: Bitter finish medium long. P: rather thin body. O: Good the bottle I had wasn’t dated I suspect it was a little old.

Belle couleur ambrée limpide. Elle dégage une bonne odeur florale, d’agrumes et de houblon. Goût prononcé de houblon, modérément sucré et très agréable en bouche, qui laisse la place à une belle amertume équilibrée. Très bonne.

Bière presque limpide de couleur de blé coiffée d’un beau col chamoix. Des arômes lactés de caramel et de résine. Intense amertume multidimentionnelle. De corps moyen et de texture collante, elle laisse en bouche une une longue fin amère et aromatique.

Amber colour. Aroma of floral hops and caramel. Taste is a bit of grapefruit, and a bit of burnt sugar. Very sessionable! Thanks Pat!

Cruchon de 1.82 litre. La bière est de couleur dorée-rousse et possède un col de mousse fugace. Au nez on respire des arômes de houblon résineux, de conifères et d’agrumes. En bouche le corps est moyen avec une effervescence faible-moyenne. On goûte des saveurs de houblon résinux et d’agrumes. La finale s’exprime avec une amertume bien présente.

Malt and hop intensity, as usual with this brewer. Golden color, thick head and persistant lacing. Very aromatic: fruity hop and malt sweetness. And so is the taste: rather powerful malt sweetness, crafty hopping that is awesomely present in the mouthfeel, medium-lenght of the aftertaste which is dominated by very pleasant citrus hopping. Again, in bottle, I’d buy it a lot more often because this one is very good rendition of those great american brews.

On tap at the brewpub, sample size. Dark amber color with a thin white head. Roasted caramalized malts. The brwe is sweet at first but then a strong bitterness comes in, low fizzyness. Not bad but Le Naufrageur has done better!

Bouteille de 500ml, robe ambrée, arôme de houblons avant tout, goût de caramel bien houblonné.
