Almost opaque golden color with minimal activity. Directly from tap pours a white 1 finger head, dead in a minute, with average legs. Aromas and flavors of citrus, fruits, grains, floral and herbal spices. Fresh lemony and floral smell. Well balanced grainy sweet taste and pleasant lemony and orange sharpness. Hints of coriander, pine, clove, and slightly hoppy. Slick medium body with prickly carbonation. Balanced finish ending with a citrus and herbal saaz feel that is quite crisp. Overall a very good craft having delicious flavors that are well balanced, great freshness and quite accessible with almost no perception of alcohol.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden, lots of floaties and a frothy white head. Flavors are wheat, herbs, rubber, spruce gum, menthol and lemon with spicy and floral notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth texture.

How: Bottle (500 ml) at home. Bought at Épicerie Lauzière.

>>> A good heavy bodied and rather drinkable spicy/sprucey Wit.

+ The frothy white head stays forever on top of a slightly hazy golden body
+ It’s not your usual Wit here, at 7.2 % abv, it has a solid - and rather fluffy - body to handle the loads of herbal/piney spiciness
+ The citrus and wheat notes makes this one more quenching
The aroma is really perfumy and spruce-forward which isn’t bad per se, but it’s so dominant that it make it a tad linear
I’m a bit surprised this beer won a "Grand Or" price at "Les Prix du Public 2015" along great beers like TDD Dulcis Succubus and Dunham Saison du Pinacle Réserve. It’s good, but not that good.

Flavors: Perfumy, coriander, strong herbal/resinous (similar to spruce) presence, citrus

On tap at Bateau de Nuit, Quebec City. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white hed that leaves good lacing. Nose is herbal and fresh, cardamom-like but you know it is something else. Taste is a little sweet but also moderately bitter from the herbs they used i guess. Peppery/spicy flavors and somewhat recognizable as a wit. Overall a good and different witbier!

Nez du terroir. Goût résineux et agrumes. Belle finale soutenue et légèrement amère. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fiche technique :Style: Witbier doubleFormat: 500 mlTaux d?alcool : 7,2%IBU: 35

Bottle - 500ml. Beautiful cloudy golden body with a thick, lasting white frothy/bubbly head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty, coriander, and grainy hints. Alcohol is subtle. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy, coriander, anf piney notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Interesting product.

pours a murky yellow. flavours of citrus (orange) and possibly even some spruce. alcohol is strong and overpowers many of the flavours so much I thought the alcohol content was more than it is. Still, a very good beer I would have again.
