Bottle at home, from the Pipeline. Thanks Tony!! Pours clody golden orange, with a moderate white head, a bit foamy but quite persistent, though the lacing is a bit underwhelming. Nose is a bit sterile, with light cold cream and perfume notes, some stonefruit, very clean, some lemon and cream here as well. Very pretty nose, but not spectacular. Flavours are clean and bright, some fresh citrus and white peach. Creamy and earthy in the finish - A solid Wit.

500 ml bottle from La Ferme Guyon Chambly A: Citrusy, corriander, leamon peel. App: Straw in color with huge white head on poor it’s hazy. T/P: light body it’s has a suprising bitter finish that last a bit. Fizzy. O: Pretty much on style. Like the spicyness on that one. Would make it rounder or remove some bitterness.

A hazed blonde wit with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, classic wit with cloves, bananas, creamy and smooth. In mouth, a smooth wheaty malt with fruity esters, bananas and berries, chalky notes, very nice. On tap at Brouhaha, March 11, 2012.

500ml bottle. Hazy yellow with light white head, large bubbles. Stale caramel, banana, light malt, some grains and barley. Bit sweet, good carbonation, very dry finish but plain with a slightly musty ending.

Bouteille 500 ml. 4.5%.

500 ml bottle from random depanneur in Riviere du Loup. Pours a hazy bright, pale yellow with average-sized white head. Aroma is grainy with lots of coriander and a hint of lemon. Flavour is also big on the coriander with wheaty malt and a touch of citrus. Serviceable but nothing special.

Great white beer. Don’t know what happened to my taste buds, but I was picking up banana rather than citrus. Chock it up to my 13 hour drive before cracking it open! Still, was a lovely refreshing beer with a nice little spice bite to finish off.
