33cl bottle, Cave à bulles, 01/2014. BB05/2015. 12/02/2014 OG. Lippy label: "Fucking white beer! Plus jamais ça!"...have the French overdosed on Hoegaarden? Pours a murky green-yellow with big-pored foam. Aroma of lemonade, pierced by ametallic whiff of abv. Yeast: High carb., effervescent, combined with a nice saison dryness, overlayed with a wit/wheat fruitiness. Taste of lemonade, grapefruit bitterness, canned cocktail fruits, lingering residual bitterness. Missing something to make it all come together, but another intersting libièration attempt at breaking free from "oppressive" adopted traditions.

My first Wheat Ale and a very good surprise! The hopsy taste is very intense and pleasant

Bottled. A unclear yellow beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, wheat, and hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, and hay, leading to a dry finish.

19/10/2013 Eurhop (tap). Bionda, curiosamente limpida, schiuma bianca media, abbastanza persistente. Al naso una bella nota luppolata, agrumato e floreale, malto, esteri (quasi) non pervenuti. In bocca si beve bene, somiglia più a una blond che non a una blanche, ma è perfetta come session, fresca e dissetante. Corpo leggero, carbonazione corretta. Molto buona!

Thanks to Hertie for sharing! Pours hazy gold with a large off-white head. Smell is citrus hops, some caramel, tart fruit. The taste follows the nose ending dry and slightly bitter. Smooth soft carbonation, light/medium body.

Blumiger und angenehm bitterer Hopfenantrunk. Die Hopfigkeit bleibt, spritzig, später herb. Spritzig grasig. 11/11/10/10/8/10

Bottled, from La Cave à Bulles, Paris. Hazy golden, coarse lively head. Minerally yeasty nose with some soapy pineapple. Sweetish with heavily spritzy carbonation and light-medium body. Gassy with fake tropical fruits and slight metallic finish. A problematic wheat beer where the flaws try to hide under a thin layer of American hops.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 Light yellow body with big foamy head. Looks good. Fresh hopped, orange peel, farmhouse yeast, floral notes and hay. Awesome fresh aroma. Light bitter, sophisticated taste, although it’s more of a farmy, rustic development than an over the top hop bomb. Fairly active carbonation, works well. Light bitterness, citric and flavourful. Ending is quite short. The carbonation is too big really, but I enjoy drinking this a lot. (33cl bottle from Biere Revolution)
