19/10/2013 Eurhop (tap). Bionda, curiosamente limpida, schiuma bianca media, abbastanza persistente. Al naso una bella nota luppolata, agrumato e floreale, malto, esteri (quasi) non pervenuti. In bocca si beve bene, somiglia più a una blond che non a una blanche, ma è perfetta come session, fresca e dissetante. Corpo leggero, carbonazione corretta. Molto buona!

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Cloudy yellow with a big white head. Lemony nose followed by surprisingly bitter fruit flavours. Some spiciness. A very interesting wit.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic French Beer Festival /// hazy, green (yes, like touch lighter Fanta Pomelo green) – I don’t know maybe it is the lighting, yellow with a big creamy white head, smell is of creamy citrus & wheat, yeast & dash of citrus air refreshner // taste is sharp citrus, substantial yeast, clearly a wheat ale, citrus zest, creamy, some yeast, spices, lighter citrus acidity in the finish // touch dry, wheat based body // agreeable wheat ale

Bottle. [thanks Søren & Feldthaus]
Pours hazy yellow with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma has citrus, grapefruit, wheat, light sweetness. Lovely. Medium carbonation, nice dry mouthfeel. Flavour is relatively sweet at first, wheat clearly in the essence. Then fine grassy, piney and citrussy bitterness comes through. A very lovely wheat.

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris; with Centennial and Cascade
Cloudy blond color, with small sized head. The aroma develops a light and delicate fruity hop touch. The body is light, with a pleasant flavor of delicate spicy wheat and exotic fruits, hops; quite good bitterness level for a wheat beer. Dry final, but with some tropical fruits, still.
Pleasant, almost a White IPA. Subtle, fresh.

Tap @ Moeder Lambic Sint-Gillis. Cloudy yellow/white beer, white foam. Aroma is citrussy hops, notes of lemon, crispy. Very refreshing and easy drinkable. Very good.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 Light yellow body with big foamy head. Looks good. Fresh hopped, orange peel, farmhouse yeast, floral notes and hay. Awesome fresh aroma. Light bitter, sophisticated taste, although it’s more of a farmy, rustic development than an over the top hop bomb. Fairly active carbonation, works well. Light bitterness, citric and flavourful. Ending is quite short. The carbonation is too big really, but I enjoy drinking this a lot. (33cl bottle from Biere Revolution)
