Smells like an IPA, tastes like a stout, and it gets you drunk. You get the best of both worlds.

[5433-20130531] Sample. Roasted nutty wood grain malt aroma. Hazy, dark cola brown body with a medium-lasting foamy light brown head. Burnt roasted coffee bark wood flavour. Full body has a nice bitter base. Quite tasty and drinkable. (8/3/8/4-/16) 3.9

Tap at brewpub. Deep black pour with a thick creamy off-white head. Lovely earthy/spicy hoppiness along with a bit of soft cocoa. It’s got a great mix of malt and hops. Moderate bitterness but a woodsy/citrus sort of profile that works with the darker malt. Dry but still has some complexity. Pretty tasty brew really.

Black with white head. Great black IPA. You can taste the high ABV of this one. Very hoppy and has a bitter end to it. Love this. Apparently won some gold medals. Had this as a draft pour at the Saint Bock brewpub in Montreal.

Draft @ Delirium.
