In short: A clean and flowery moderately bretty Saison with a bright brett character. Very good.
How: Tap at brewpub.
The look: Glowing cloudy orange body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is bright funk, flowery brett, nice countryside field sensation, fresh hay. Taste is rather clean for a brett beer, crisp crackery malts, crunchy dried light-color fruits, hay, orange peels, dried flowers, moderate bright bretty funk. Mild bitterness with an orange peels tastes. The brett really snuck-up on me, the beer doesn’t feel all that bretty but the finish is really bone-dry. Medium body with a lively carbonation. Not the most complex beer but for the clean wild session beer lover this was spot-on. Certainly the best beer I’ve ever had from Saint-Bock. I usually complains about the beer from Saint-Bock so this rating goes on to prove that I’m not always rude and offensive for no reason, but when I am your mother is a whore.
