aerosol999 (113), Quebec, Canada Oct 2, 2007 Aroma: Very hoppy but old hops - cheesy, Doritos. Little malt character.
Appearance: Golden blonde low head, crystal clear.
Flavour: Malt and hops balaced towards hops. Great bitterness but the flavour is redolent of the cheesy aroma. Finishes dry and with a good strong english bittering character.
Mouthfeel: Medium light bodied with low carbonation. (it wasn’t on the hand pump)
Overall: Very strong old hop aroma. Recipe itself is spot on for an English style IPA good bitterness but not overpowering the malt and a strong lingering character. Unfortunately poor ingredients stuck out like a sore thumb. Mart (211), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Mar 7, 2007 Arome de houblon. Couleur orangée clair. Goût tout en amertume. Trop déséquilibré. On a que l’amertume, aucune saveur de malt. Très très mince. Étiquetté au bar comme une IPA. beerbuzzmontreal (2769), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Feb 1, 2007 Pours an orange color with a thin offwhite bubbly head. Aroma of earthy and spicy hops (Goldings?). The flavor has more hops bitterness than hops flavor, which isn’t to my tastes, plus, the body is light and the texture is watery. Hip hop(s), I don’t like the music and I don’t like the beer. mds (2111), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 7, 2006 Draught. Copper body with a soapy white head and lacing. The aroma has orangey-grapefruit hops, biscuit, etc. The flavour is piney and bitter...generally quite hoppy and raw. Tasty and surprising as it was probably the hoppiest I had this day on a jaunt through the Montreal brewpubs. GonZoBeeR (2029), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada Sep 9, 2006 Aroma:full of grapefruit hops...
Appearance:Clear cooper,good white head...
Flavor:Full bitternerss but thats it...
