On tap at the brewpub. Golden body with a fair white creamy head. Average malty/hoppy aroma with bready hints. Well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries herbal and bready notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Good introduction to micro beers.

My Bottom Line:
Cereal crackers and leafy, wooden hops delineate this balanced Cream Ale from beginning to end.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the misty pale golden.
-This was surprisingly leaner than the Passe Partout Extra Pale Ale. Not exactly what I expected, since the Criminale is a Cream Ale...
-I appreciate the fact that this was not another nitroed-to-death Cream Ale. The body was simply gotten from well extracted malts.
-The mouthfeel is super clean; the recipe may be nothing special, but it is impeccably executed nonetheless.
-The leafy hops produce mild but pleasant bitterness.
