upfront big roasty notes, some light lactic notes, and some subtle sweeetnss that turns into cocoa, and coffee. Carbonation was low, but the mouth feel was spot on. intense roastiness in the finish with a big dose bitter cocoa, and some coffee. a great stout.

My Bottom Line:
Frank roastiness and underlying caramel sweetness team up with humble fruit esters to build this well-fed and überdrinkable Stout.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the browned blackness.
-The roasted malts offer bitterness too, but may appear linear in the flavor profile. More depth at this level would be even more fun.
-As with all Trèfle Noir beers today, the body was well rounded and the carbonation relaxed enough to let us appreciate all the flavors thoroughly.
-Hops could be more expressive even if they stay in the finale.
