En fût au Gainsbourg, couleur ambrée, rougeâtre, mousse blanche/beige. Arôme de jambon fumé, grains. En bouche, le malt fumé se propage en bois, caramel, jambon, charcuteries. Très bonne.

On tap at Gainsbourg. Clear reddish brown with a frothy off-white head. Flavors are bacon, salt, caramel, smoke, pepper and herbal notes. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

Un liquide ambré et un col bien crémeux. Une large dentelle se positionne sur la paroi de mon verre. Un nez de bûches bien sèches qui crépitent, de caramel légèrement salé et de tourbe. La bouche bien fumée et timidement viandeuse avec la présence visible d’un sucre malté. Au palais, la bière est pétillante et huileuse. En finale, la fumée est capable de s’intensifier avec intelligence. Une lager assez facile à boire.

Cette bière fumée limpide de couleur ambrée offre un mince col mousseux, mais qui perdure longtemps. Ce que j’adore des bières fumées, c’est d’abord et avant tout les odeurs qui s’y dégagent. On y dénote dans celle-ci des odeurs de smoked meat et/ou de jambon fumé, mais ce n’est pas trop prononcé. Mêmes saveurs nuancées en bouche, un petit goût d’érable venant adoucir l’aspect fumé,. Bien maltée, la Consumation a accompagné à merveille la délicieuse poutiflette du Brouhaha!

On tap at the brewpub, finally re-released. Clear red/brown pour with off white head. Aroma of intense smoke, bacon, mineral, almost saline notes. Taste is smoky, grainy with a nice sweet malty base. Palate is light and fluffy, soft carb, lager-like quenching potential. Very high drinkability, fine smoked.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a nice dark reddish-brown color with a bit of murkiness. Off white head that comes with the pour but doesn’t stay around for too long. The nose is quite smoky with a bit of peat and meat. The flavor brings on the peat and the smoke. Nice combination and done well. Nice feel and quite smoky. On tap at Church Key DC: Pours a transparent copper amber with a stringy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of rich earthy smoke and sweet toasty caramel malt with a touch of light fruity notes. Starts with average fullness and some nice light malty sweetness with good smoky complexity before a drier, smooth finish. Could use a little more body and sweetness, but has a good smoke profile.

Draught. Mondiale 2009 - day 3. Clear amber with a nice frothy/foamy off-white head. Aroma of fresh-cooked maple-smoked bacon - niiiiiiice! Taste of bandaids, sweet roast malt and campfire ash. Light of body, quite astringent, quick-finishing with a nice smoky tang left on the tongue. I loved it - BACON!!!!!

Smoked lager, at Festival Bières et Saveurs 2009.Light brown colour, with big soapy white head. Served too cold.Average mouthfeel, some smoke of course in the aroma. A good lager and smoke, but not that drinkable, a glass was too much.
