3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
600ml bottle the missus brought back from Ottawa, into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden orange with lasting white head and lots of lacing. Tropical fruit (mainly some mango, a bit of pineapple and pear, some grassy notes. Light sweetness up front before descending into a lasting dry bitter finish. Curious.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
600ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with quite a bit of sediment floaters and a large fine bubbled white head. Really, it looks like a photo shoot beer. On the nose, resinous notes, grapefruit, and light musty Belgian tripel-like notes. As for taste, quite bitter with grapefruit, resinous notes, light tropical fruit, heavy metallic notes, and faint tripel notes that lead into a dense bitter metallic / citrus pithy finish. It’s solid, but not terribly complex. Worth trying, but maybe not revisiting.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught (6.5%) @ Lambic Foeder. Rated on 25.06.2015
Aroma has grainy malt, fruity hops and peaches. Feels like a fruity IPA. Flavour has fruity hops, some caramel, grass, minerals and mild grainy tones. Also grassy hops and mild menthol. Rather rich for this ABV.

Citrus and spices on the nose. More citrus on the tongue with loads of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango) and grassy notes. Light and refreshing with minimal bitterness. Really good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
all of these Trou du diable beers are blending together, lightly hoppy, easrthy and grassy. Same as the rest, the IPAs are murky and complex with wheaty grassy flavors.

Bouteille 600ml. Couleur dorée, mousse blanche, dentelle. Arômes de houblons, agrumes. Goût gazon frais, houblon, pamplemousse, litchi. Bouche d’une blanche, goût d’une IPA très rafraîchissante.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2015 600 ml The LCBO. It pours a light and murky gold. The liquid is quite hazy. As for the head, it is an equally light froth that dissipates rather quickly. For the aroma, hops, citrus and tropical fruit dominate. In particular, I detect: sugar, citrus, pineapple, and a slight hint of mango. It tastes medium sweet with predominant bitter notes. As with the aroma, I detect: hops, citrus and tropical fruit, most notably pineapple and mango. The palate is medium bodied and lightly oily, with a medium carbonation that ends with a rather long lasting bitter finish. Pleasant, and not unsavory. Overall, a well balanced beer that I would gladly drink again.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
600 mL bottle. Looks more like an IPA than a wit. Lots of sediment. Nice lacing. Aroma is pineapple up front, with some orange underneath. Flavour is interesting. The finish is the best part - a saison-y pepperiness, and then a soft bitterness.
