75cl bottle pours a hazy gold with some filmy, lacing white head. Nose has straw, grass, lemon peel, mild spice, some stale biscuit. Flavor is a little weaker, light everything - lemon/grist/straw, some soap here. Watery finish.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2016 On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Pine cones, resins and some pale malts in the aroma. Orange zest too. It’s dry and full to medium bodied with a quite high but nice carbonation level. Nice bitterness. Piney, resiny and lightly orangey flavor with some pale malts in the back. Lasting hop dominated finish. Refreshing and a tad boring, more interesting on cask I think. Rating: 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. 150611

Cask at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. As Les Quatres Surfeurs de l’Apocalypso. It’s an unclear one, orange colored and almost headless. Some off-white bubbles. Oranges, pine cone notes and a touch of malts in the aroma. It’s medium bodied and very soft on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. There’s a decent bitterness in the mouth, with pine cones and resin and a touch of oranges. Some pale malts in the back. A refreshing and tasteful one. 150611

Bottle from Steve. Pours a light gold with a huge white frothy head. Big tropical hop nose. Smooth malt body, fruity, hop taste. Tasty brew.

Tap sample. Poured clear yellow color with a medium frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy tropical citrus and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a tingly slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded.

Aroma is wheat, tropical fruit and mild funk. The flavor is wheat, tropical fruit, light citrus, malts and a mix of tart and relatively slight bitterness in the finish.

840 ml bottle. Honey gold color with a small white head. Tart citrus hop nose with a yeasty push. Flavor has tropical fruit notes. Hints of mango, lemon and tangerine. Nice citrus and spicy hop finish. Crisp and tart with complex fruity citrus bitterness and Belgian pedigree. Nuff said.

Hazy gold with some sediment. Pillowy head that sticks around. Aroma is fruity, with pear and lychee (as the bottle says!). Something like candied lemon too. Taste opens with a dry, bitter grainy belgiany opening. Maybe a little astringent. Finish quite clean. I am truly baffled by the hawaiian branding on this, but it’s a pleasant thing to drink

Blah blah, Belgian white crossed with an IPA -- but this one is really good! Clear gold with an amazing foamy head that leaves great lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and a bit of pine. Lightly bitter finish.

Golden, white head Aromas of mango, tropical fruits, citrus hops, hint of mild pine. Palate is creamy. A nice beer!
