Bottle, thank you Colin, as Les Quarte Surfeurs de L’Apocalypso. Hazy golden yellow, big white fluffy head. Lovely fruity aroma - a lot of pear - and a gentle spiciness. Taste is nice - really tropical fruity hops balanced with a wit bier lively body and spiciness - the tropical hops take over by the time this is finished though. Very drinkable. Just a touch watery in the body. Overall tremendous - I really enjoyed this.

600ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha in Gatineau, Quebec. Golden in colour with a thin lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of tropical fruits, some pine, quite lovely. The flavour has some pine, floral and citrus hops, lots of tropical fruits, good bitterness. Finishes long, fruity. A wonderfully balanced IPA.

Pours a cloudy dirty-blonde with a bit of fizz. The label says tastes of resin, candy, lychees and pear. I get resin, mango, pineapple and pear at first, but the more I go back the more I get a candied fruit scent.Taste is sweet, but still light, with a lingering dryness - this is so damn well balanced. Malt is more sweet caramel than wheat, but it’s got good backbone. Light mouthfeel, moderately carbonated, this is a ridiculously good summer beer. And mad props for the accurate taste profile: this beer is EXACTLY what it claims to be.

On tap at Hopfenstark Ho.st. As Four Surfers of the Apocalypse. A classic amber/copper color with a solid light beige head and a malty fruity hop aroma. Med-full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is balanced biscuity malts and bitter pine not as complex as I was expecting but still quite good and you gotta love the name.

600ml bottle. Cloudy blonde with a frothy white head. Flavors are wheat, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lychee and pine with spicy and floral notes. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, smooth texture.

Pale golden pour with a thick white head. Cloudy and very attractive. The nose is quite lovely - a bit of tropical fruit, mango, kiwi and some light fruit as well a moderately warming feeling. A touch of pepper and some nice soft hoppiness. It has a nice freshness that is quite appealing. Soft and bright and tropical. Lovely beer.

On tap at ST Augustine’s in Vancouver. A very pale ale indeed, and though nicely balanced flavours here, it’s a bit too delicate for this cat. 3.1.

Hazy blonde, slightly catty aroma, maybe orchard fruit hops, a touch of yeasty esters. Has a fresh fruity character, the usual dry, assertive "pale hoppy" that TdD does so well.

Bottle. Nice interpretation of the style. Very hazy. Good balance between hops & the white beer. Dryness and lively carbonation are welcome. Very good drinkability.
