Big fluffy, pillowy persistent white head. Nice lacing. Pale straw colour, slightly hazy. Small white particles at the bottom of the glass. High carbonation. Dry, refreshing. Citrus, grapefruit, pine, pineapple aroma, same in flavour with light belgian phenolics (slight spice).

The colour of an old school creamsicle with a fluffy inch of foam on top. Flecks of unfiltered whatever-they-are dance at bottom of the glass like a bunch of drunken co-eds. Aroma is a bouquet of fresh fruit salad. I get pineapple, lychee, grassy hops, & unripened green pear on the tongue. The finish is crisp & slightly salty & very satisfying. Fusing IPAs with Belgian styles is almost as trendy as session IPAs & many brewers do it with the elegance of drunken rhinoceros in a tea shop, but this is a tutorial in beautiful brewing.

Pours a murky gold, with a massive bubbly white head. Aroma has notes of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, citrus, and some wheat funk. Tasting notes include pineapple, mango, orange, coriander, and wheat spunk. This is definitely a unique IPA I love the fruitiness to it. Very well done!

2015/06/07 - Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy, yellow, honey colour with a thick, rocky, off white head that slowly reduces. Aroma is pine, tropical fruit (lychee, pineapple), citrus, grassy hops and pepper. Taste is mild lychee and pineapple, pine, grassy hops, citrus and mild honey. Mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and a drying, earthy finish. The taste really matches the deScription: an American IPA mixed with a Belgian white. Crisp, fruity and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the LCBO. Slightly hazy pale orange gold with a huge billowy white head that fades very slowly and leaves a lot of lace. Nose is lots of pineapple and tropical fruit with notes of pine, yeast, honey and some spice. Light sweet honey and caramel base supports the dominant citrus and tropical fruit bitterness. Slight spice is present but fainter than in the nose. Medium slick body with average carbonation and a long dry finish. Lots of character and interesting levels.

Nice blond with white fluffy head, aka classically handsome. (Just like me!) Nice hoppy nose of resin, pine and tropical fruits. Nice mouthful of flavours, tropical fruits, hops in the pine, fruit, resins and a little bittering, hay malts. It’s delicious. (Just like me!) Different, but another great choice for the backyard or dock this summer. (Just like me!) The way it’s going for great quaffable beers this spring, I’m going to be very, very drunk anytime I’m at the cottage or backyard. (Hooray!)

Found at the LCBO under the name "The Four Surfers of the Apocalpso". Pours an unfiltered golden-yellow colour with lots of particles. Big frothy white cap, great retention and thick patchy foam lace. Fresh grassy nose balanced with a little sweetness from pineapples and other fruits. The mouthfeel is slightly dry with a little bitterness in the finish, but grassy tart lingers on the tongue. Flavours blended between the grassy hops and light tropical fruits. Goes down nicely as not a hopbomb, but for those who prefer more on the fruity side of IPAs. As the deScription goes, a Belgian Witbier mixed with an IPA. Nice !

Bottle was clear with globby yeast which I shook into it a day before, let it settle. Pours slightly hazy with a crisp fruity aroma, summer meadow. Taste is very fresh and favors some pale fruit sweetness with a bit of sour. Hey it’s not bad really, sort of a wheat ale and IPA hybrid, with steely hops and a round flavor profile.

Une belle White IPA gourmande et houblonnée dans la lignée de la libertine de la Jurassic brewery ou de la gumbalhead de Threefloyd!
