2014-08-14, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-4-8-5-16=40
Cloudy deep blond color with compact head. More accent on the hops than on the "white" part, mellow, fruity, stone fruits, with moderate sweetness. Well balanced, fresh and enjoyable.
Excellent.

Cloudy deep blond color with small compact head. Harmonious aroma, of hops and malt, quite delicate, with a hint of tropical fruits. Smooth flavor; it has a mild spicy character, strong hopping, with a good combination of lemon peel, orange and some tropical fruit too. Light sweetness in the end.
Very nice.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2016 On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Pine cones, resins and some pale malts in the aroma. Orange zest too. It’s dry and full to medium bodied with a quite high but nice carbonation level. Nice bitterness. Piney, resiny and lightly orangey flavor with some pale malts in the back. Lasting hop dominated finish. Refreshing and a tad boring, more interesting on cask I think. Rating: 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. 150611

Cask at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. As Les Quatres Surfeurs de l’Apocalypso. It’s an unclear one, orange colored and almost headless. Some off-white bubbles. Oranges, pine cone notes and a touch of malts in the aroma. It’s medium bodied and very soft on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. There’s a decent bitterness in the mouth, with pine cones and resin and a touch of oranges. Some pale malts in the back. A refreshing and tasteful one. 150611

Hazy blonde, slightly catty aroma, maybe orchard fruit hops, a touch of yeasty esters. Has a fresh fruity character, the usual dry, assertive "pale hoppy" that TdD does so well.

Tap sample. Poured clear yellow color with a medium frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy tropical citrus and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a tingly slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out floral hops, light Belgian yeast and crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with a nice dry palate, including dry crackery malt, a touch of Belgian yeast and floral hops. Very well-balanced, dry and drinkable. Decent stuff.

A hazed golden ipa with a thick frothy off white head. In aroma, a nice grassy caramel malt with fruity esters, citrusy hops with lemon notes, very Belgian and nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with lemon notes, catty hops, light cloves in finale. On tap at Oktoberfest des Québecois 2013.

draught@Erzbierschof - pretty clear golden beer with a respectable white foam left; nice lace; gently metallic with notes of yellow fruits marmalade and spicy hops; full-bodied, lively palate, some sweetness and fairly bitter; light dry spicy and yellow fruity hoppy finish, a bit grainy and oily
