COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is a skillful blend, 40% of which is brewed in Buteuse Brassin Special, Dulcis Succubus and Bretteuse barrels, 40% is from sour rye aged in Banyuls barrels and 20% of which is from young Saison beer. The nose is evocative of a Flanders red, with slightly acidic notes of cherry. The palate is sharp, dry and slightly oxidized, leaving a sweet, fruity taste on the tongue which is immediately followed by a vinous finish reminiscent of great classical beers.

What?!?!

(750ml bottle) clearish deep gold, soapy large white bubbles. Nose of Brett C, funky, citrus, sawdust, acetone, cherry, and wet wood. Taste is fairly muted, Brett, citrus peel, light funk, mildly tart, easy drinking but a sourish finish wish touch of acetone on the palate.

750ml bottle via special order at LCBO (think they still have some at Volo though). Clear light copper with a white head. Light sour, lemon zest, some refreshing funk, brett, chardonnay, light oak, moderate body and mild carbonation, light funk and citrus on the finish with a touch of white grape. Tasty.

Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some tangy citrus fruits, dry wood, tangerine. Medium sweet flavor, a little funky, with notes of grass and leather, some lemon zest. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation.
