Bottle from the brewery store, enjoyed in my hotel room in the beer wasteland of Havre St Pierre Quebec. Solid black color with a huge bubbly tan head with great retention. Rich chocolate with light fruitiness and somewhat of a dubbel profile. Tasty, but not quite what I was expecting.

600ml bottle from Bières et Délices. Aroma: cacao, coffee, burned toast, licorice, cola. App: dark brown , small beige head, little to no retention. Taste and palate: medium body, light sweetness, a bit licoreux, watery, light acidity. Overall: a bit disappointed. Was expecting more. Not enough big for me.

Bouteille 600 ml. Couleur noire, mousse beige.

600 ml bottle shared with dad A: chocolate, coffee/roasty, light caramel, light licorice app: dark brown close to black sparing beige head some lacing t/p: med body moderate long bitter finish. Moderate carbonation. O: enjoyed the aroma, you smell the malts. It’s drinkable not heavy at all. A pleasant surprise.

Black. Still. Sharp dark malt and licorice scent. Malty. Sour tinge. Just a trace of alcohol.

600ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black with a foamy tan head. Flavors are toasted bread, roasted cereals, dark fruits, chocolate and molasses. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, creamy texture.

Beautiful dark coffee color with a weak aroma of burnt caramel. Its taste is well balance with mocca and molasse but misses out on precision. A small bitterness that makes this Baltic Porter refreshing. Cheers!
