COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draft at brewpub. Clear coppery amber. Spiderweb lace. Nutty, caramel and toffee malt aroma. Clean and refreshing. The crisp finishes balances the sweet, maply malts. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Nord-Ouest Café. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel (light) and malt with some herbal notes. Taste of caramel (light), malt. Bitterness in aftertaste. Far from their best...

On tap at brewpub. Golden, brownish ale with a white head. Low head retention, leaves a nice lacing. Tastesd of sweet caramel and berries, subtle bitterness on the finish. Good level of carbonation makes this one stand out.

On tap at Brouhaha, amber color, with a beige head, with an earthy grainy toasted, caramel malt nose with a light herbal, vegetal floral leafy, grassy hop accent, with a hint of cookie dough and toffee in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a mild yeasty, flowery hop leafy note upfront and an earthy grainy toasted, biscuity, caramel malt character with some faint lemon, grapefruit peel grassiness, and a light floral cloverleaf bitterness, leading towards a grainy, toasty, biscuity maltiness, lingering earthy hop bittering finish.

Drank on tap (20 oz) at Brouhaha in Montreal, on July 3, 2010. Red dark little head. Aroma of crunchy malted barley, a bit fruity. Taste of light and dry barley and wheat, not much aftertaste other that it is bitter. Definitely not their best!

On tap at TDD. I picked this thinking it was a APA, oops. Aroma rich with milk chocolate and malty sweetness, some toffey. Taste is quite sweet and sticky, lacks a bit of hop presence. Not bad despite my surprise, but nothing great here.
