3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalchopz (1429) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2011
Originally rated October 2006 at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy golden-beige colour with a bit of lacing and light carbonation. Citrus nose with Belgian white yeast and notes of spices. Very refreshing mouthfeel. Orange is present all the way through and good grainy malt (or wheat) finish. Not much spices in the taste. Pretty good witbier with a more pronounced wheat taste to it.

On tap at the brewpub. Light pale yellow pour, not very hazy for the style. Aroma has strong coriander notes up front, maybe some cardamom but without the orange/citrus touch witbiers normally have. Quite spicy. Flavor is sweet and spicy, subtle wheat notes. Palate is light and refreshing, good carbonation. Very decent wit.
