In short: average witbier.
Pours hazy bright gold with frothy white head, soapy one. Short head retention. Citrusy, coriander aromas. Light body, average to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is belgian witbier profiled, quite citrusy. Dry finish.

Pours slightly hazy pale straw with a short-lived finger of loose white head diminishing rapidly to nothing, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is wheat, bready yeast, coriander, green apple, citrus, hint of bubblegum. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet and mild bitter, building peppery spice. (7/10) Light body, prickly sustained carbonation, off-dry finish. (3/5) Pleasant witbier. Suffers a bit by comparison to their collaboration wit/pils that I had earlier today, certainly a much more typical to the style beer. Still, well-done, pleasant, and refreshing.(14/20)

Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20140724]

Rickard’s and Keith’s could do well to take some notes. This cloudy golden straw beer-scarecrow’s head doesn’t stick around but its flavour sure does. The aroma of herbal hops, wheat and yeast gibe way to a taste of wheat, bubblegum and honey. Some mild sweetness accompanied nicely by a lively and slightly oily body.

Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a finger of foam. Nose is yeast with layers of citrus pith, lemon zest and some dusty earthy grain. Palate follows the nose nicely with lots of up front spicy yeast character that opens up into a citrus heavy mid to late palate. Some juicy lemon, orange zest and a lingering lime quality. Pretty tasty and I enjoy the citrus aspect as counterbalance to the wit yeast profile.

Poured a nice hazy straw with a small sudsy looking head. Aroma is of citrus, grass, wheat, and herbs. Tasted kind of woody with a tinge of smoke, also some citrus fruit and herbs in there as well. Had a medium body with low carbonation, pretty much flat. Had kind of a watery finish with a refreshing citrus zing. I wish it was more carbonated, but still very refreshing.

Nice witbier. Bottle. Pours medium yellow-green with a one-finger bubbly white head that dissolves into nothingness. Aromas of green apple, cider and a bit of yeast. Taste is at first sweet-sour, then moves into a nice tart finish. Little alcoholic taste, which is nice. The palate is medium-bodied, with a moderate-high carbonation.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Nose of citrus, orange and coriander. Wheaty taste with some subtle sweetness. Medium body, good carbonation? Finish is citrusy. Very well balanced and quite refreshing.
