COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
THIS PAGE IS FOR THE BOTTLED VERSION (aged in Syrah barrels).

(Rating #4773)

UPDATED: APR 17, 2013 You will be attracted by its complex smell. It will bring reminiscences of orchard and blooming meadows. Then you will be hit by the sourness of the first sip, which will softly reveal a concealed bitterness and leave a sweet sensation. You might be uncertain whether you like the sensation or not, but the passage of this beer will leave an arousing after taste that will keep you coming back for more. It will linger in your palate until you go for another sip. Then, you will appreciate more and more the sweetness of this magnificent wild ale. Take time to appreciate its herbal and zesty aromas. Feel its refreshing effervescent power. Combine it with a good cheese. Enjoy the finer things in life. Bretteuse means lingering, and that’s what you should be doing right now. :)

Hugely dry and almost puckeringly sour, this is one for the hardcore. Also quite hoppy, which adds a unique element. Still this is a very much in soured Riesling territory here.

Bottled. Deep amner-orange, cloudy, a bit, fine head. Great fruity nose, lemon, yogurt, stone fruits, grapefruit. Dry, tangy falvor, orange and yogurt, vanilla, still nice hops. Excellent. Not all that sour, but dry and wonderful.

Hazy golden amber color. The nose is very bretty, with tons of tropical hops. Big brett mouth with a touch of sourness, oak, peaches and cream, medium body. Rounded. Tons of depth, but the Syrah does not shine. Dry, bretty finish.
