Malty peach. Aroma is very mild sour. Taste is a good balance between the yeast of a saison and sour of a wild ale. Light tart. Palate is not ridiculously difficult. Decent sour ale.

75cL bottle from work (Co-op WSB). Brought this out to celebrate beginning of a long weekend. Clear golden pour (bit of a reddish tinge maybe, or just odd lighting in my buddy’s kitchen) with a sticky white foam that bubbles away fairly quick. Wondrous aromas of manuka honey, vanilla, lavender, and cornbread ooze out of this gem. Palate is sticky bubble gum sweetness, and the sourness of the brett comes in with some glorious grapey, sour apple notes. Fantastique from ltdd!

75cl bottle at CBC Clerkenwell, thanks to Bruce! Hazy amber pour with a big pillowy head. Nose holds big cheesecloth, brett, spicy herbs, cherry, and apple. The flavor has big barrely tannic qualities, chardonnay, cinnamon, and dry barnyard. The palate is extremely dry and really lets the complexities of the flavor shine through. Great sour.

Redish gold with tiny white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of funk. Flavor is sweet and a bit funky. Lacks compared to the smell.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Light gold pour with a white head. More apple than anything here. Some wine elements. Quite good.

Another bomb from Dan. Aroma is wonderfully complex and subtle at the same time. Great floral notes with a subdued barnyard funk and Gewurtz grape. Pours hazy dull blonde with a decent fizzy head. Taste is great with sour Reisling, a great brett barnyard funk, and subtle wheat tones. Everything is just pronounced enought and in perfect harmony. This is a dynamite saison. And quite possibly the sexiest bottle ever.

750mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a hazy golden / copper wit medium white head. Aroma of noble rot wine barrels, some brett, and barnyard notes. Flavour brings out loads of brett, some horse blanket, strong wine barrels a la noble rot, and dry citrus skin. Amazing complexity, with loads of vinous and wild notes. Exceedingly high drinkability, with the brett and wine barrels used to perfection. Most excellent stuff.

Bottle. Clear amber beer with a nice cream head. Tart/light sour aroma with fruitiness. Malt and yeast flavor with summer fruit, tartness, and earthiness. Medium bodied. Yeast and tartness linger with brett, summer/tropical fruit, and malt.

Décembre 2010. Blonde doré. Explosion lors de l'ouverture. Nez de levure sauvage. Sucré. Floral. Boisé. Vin blanc. Bouche: Forte effervescence. Belle acidité. Pomme. Fruité. Vanille. Terreuse. Levure sauvage. Caramel. Un peu épicé. Chêne. Citron. Légère amertume. Une très belle complexité mais manque un peu de corps.
