750 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with a nice, resilient white head. Smell is white wine, very fruity, yeast and vanilla. Taste is white wine, apple juice, green grapes, peach, pear, and some oak. Lots of tartness and citrusy (grapefruit, orange) bitterness in the finish. Some fruits, too. Medium to full body, smooth mouthfeel. Light to medium carbonation. Not exactly my style, but I must admit that beer is exquisite.

Golden coloured body with a large, five centimetre tall white head and a nice bit of effervescence from the bottom and sides. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie and wheatie note with a lot of movement, some light sugars, a hint of herbal and grassy notes, some light spices and a hint of brett noticeable. Aftertaste shows some nice effervescence, a good yeast note and a bit of herbal hops and malt which show well, but not as great as most other reviews show and I didn’t get any real sour notes at all, just a few hints of brett. Overall, a nice beer with bunches of good flavour, but nothing ridiculously good as expected and for the price! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Best Cellars (now doesn’t exist) in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 04-July-2011 for US$23.99 sampled at home in Washington on Thanksgiving, 22-November-2012.

Pours a beautiful peach colour with nice frothy and creamy white head. Immediately picked up nice white wine notes...apple, white grapes, sweet vanilla, brett. Flavours are oaky, sour, and sweet fruits. Nice.

Bottle shared with northropfrye and cards04. Sweet and sour aroma. Creamy frothy head. Lemon body. Taste is citrus, vanilla and something else I can’t quite put my finger on. A good sipping beer for me.

Thanks for this one, Tommy! Complex tart aroma, hints of vanilla, citrus. Taste is not overly sour, but there’s a tartness, sweet yeastiness and a grapefruit bitterness. Very enjoyable.

Bière dorée, légèrement voilée, coiffée d’une mousse dense qui s’agrippe au verre pour lui en laisser une écume. Des arômes aussi variés qu’intéressants. Les fruits tropicaux sont représentés par le fruit de la passion, l’ananas et le raisin vert. Une odeur boisée avec des effluves de levures sauvages. Son goût est dans la même famille, laissant sur la langue une sensation acidulée, qui semble annuler les points forts du liquide. On goûte les brettanomyces au travers les élans de vin blanc. Bottle, reviewed from notes sometime spring 2011. Pours clear, brilliant dark amber, healthy one finger head, foamy lace and champagne bubbles. Musty aroma of bleu cheese, oak, underneath is apple, pineapple and other tropical fruit, hint of hops. Taste delicate and nuanced: light funk, brett, faint tropical fruits, spicy malts leads to a slightly bitter, dry finish. Full bodied, sparkling carbonation. Really nice.

Bottle thanks to Tommy for this one. Really funky, earthy, rustic wild ale here. Pours a cloudy orange straw color with large foamy head. Aroma is bretty funk, basement, oranges, peaches, and herbal sweetness. Taste is medium tart and heavy funk with a great citrus and vinous notes. Awesome beer.

Wow this is awesome, lactose type tartness. Sweetish bretty flavors, dry finish, great stuff
