Color ámbar con densa y duradera espuma blanca. Aromas afrutados de albaricoque brett. y madera. Cuerpo medio alto con inicio dulce, melocotón, acidez moderada, madera y final seco con toque brett. El regusto es ácido y afrutado. Muy rica.

750 ml bottle. Pours a very lightly hazy yellow with a large pillowy white head. Aromas are subtle fruit (peaches, pears), leather, a bit of funk, and a bit of that brettanomyces sour. Tastes are earth, oak, chalk, grapefruit, and generally quite dry. Sharp on the palate, medium body, and a lengthy dry finish. Does a nice job covering up the big 7% abv. A complex and interesting beer from Trois Rivières.

Pours a clear orange gold with one finger of loose off-white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim and no lacing. Nose has brett sharpness, tart and sour cider tones, stone fruit and earthy mustiness. Taste is somewhat similar but with a pronounced oakiness and a surprising absence of the sour from the nose and a near-complete absence of sweetness. Mouth feel tends to the heavier side, albeit with decent sustained carbonation, finishing dry. Interesting and complex. Not sure whether it’s more a saison, a farmhouse, or a wild, but it’s good regardless. That being said, it’s missing a certain sharpness or sourness on the tongue that would push it to the next level.

Bottle, multiple times. Pours a very clear blond with a decent white head. Aroma is very enjoyable with cereal, honey, pears and white flower notes. Also some light barnyard/bugs. Taste has wine and honey sweetness that is nicely balanced by a rustic tartness. Highly drinkable without being too dry. Not as complex as the Buteuse but easier to drink.

Bouteille 750 ml. 7%. Couleur jaune or assez foncée, mousse blanche mince. Arôme de levures, houblons, pêche et un peu de bois. En bouche, notes vineuses, vanille, levures sauvages, un peu de bois, un peu sucrée mais l’acidité revient en force, finale agréable.

75 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours hazy golden color, small head. Rose Hip on the nose with rowanberries and manure, mild fruits and some berries. Sourish fruity flavor with yeast, berries and yeast. Quite smooth despite the somewhat aggressive notes. Pleasant.
