Huge thanks to ygtbsm94 for sharing this at a recent tasting. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a nice yellow color with a good white head. The nose carries nice Brett notes with a bit of earth underneath some hay, stone fruits, light wine, and pineapple. Some lemon comes in through the flavor. Light body and dry finish. Very nicely done beer.

murky gold with a thin white head, wispy after time. Heavy Brett c mango and pineapple, hay, Fruit flesh sourness adds balance. Flavor is more harsh, Brett plastic phenols contrast sweet esters, lots of mango in the Brett. Short finish, sticky body accents singular qualities.

From the bottle, pours a hazy straw like yellow with a head that makes way to lacings. Notes of passionfruit, mango, lemon, citrus, an element of herbs as well. Very clean and bright on the palate.

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94: Pours a clear deep golden bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty and floral hoppy nose with a some tart vinous fruity notes. Starts with good fullness and fine carbonation with a lightly sweet biscuity maltiness and tart vinous grape complexity before a drier sweettart finish. Has good balance and should age well.

Hazy pale orange pour with a white head. Fruiy aroma with notes of melon and peach, maybe some cotton candy. Dry bubble gum flavor, a bit chalky. Fruity with a bitter finish. Not bad.

Cloudy orange colour with a foamy head that disappears rather quickly. big aroma : woody, oaky and planky lumberyard note mixed with citrus fruit, leather and a barnyard note. vegetal and cinnamon notes are there as well. Tannic flavour, greet note, tart and very sour cherry/cranberry. wicked good.

Poured into Trou du Diable tulip from 750ml bottle. Aroma of apricot and leather! Quite tart, but well balanced for this kind of sour ale. Pour a dark golden/orange with a 1/2" head which diminishes to nothing; leaves no lacing. Medium sour, the most balance Quebec-made sour Iíve had yet. Body is rather full for a sour, texture is slightly oily. Carbonation is pretty flat. Sour, medium-long finish. Overall a very good farmhouse/sour, the apricot is very interesting, and leather also. Iíve been told that some are put of by the leather, but donít be. This is really an interesting blend!

Bottle. Smells like Cantillon. Tastes like super malt Cantillon which is a good thing. Woody complex and sour. Only downside is rough aftertaste.
