Love the Magic the Gathering like art on the bottle. Light amber pout with a light white head. Strong fruity citrus scent. Don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything like this. Fizzy on the tongue. Sweet at first then a taste that reminds me of grapes. That’s us followed by a slight IPA bitterness. Normally I don’t like this but it’s very subtle. This was well worth the price.

HOLY HELL! Copper pour, white head. Flavor is just badass. White wine grapes, light vinegar sourness, light oak flavors, funky brett notes, leather, lemons, yeast, floral and freaking delicious.

Wow!

Tap at Volo. Holy shit this is awesome. Pale golden pour with a very thick creamy head. The aroma is loaded with funked out bretty character. Some light pineapple, mango, and passionfruit topped by a load of dry minerally funk. Softly fruity and spicy. Loads of bright zesty character and fresh yeastiness. Lots of softly vineous tartness and soee kiwifruit as well. Great stuff that could hold it’s own against Russian River sours - incredible complexity. I needs to get to Shawinigan.

Haha a Canadian Sour, yeah i ate those words. Bottle shared by the Montreal Crew specifically not sure which one brought it but i have to imagine Dany had his hands on this, which made me wonder was this another evil joke of a beer or something special. Pours a hazy chardonnay like body with a copper tone and large full white rocky head with both good retention and lacing. The aromatic character is slow to drift through the full pillow of white head. Slowly a herbal wild grape skin tone. Chardonnay notes, this is soft and herbal with a kiss of refreshing white grape tones and and brettanomyces. Light spicy pepper y tones tickle the carbonation and your palate. A nice drying fresh finish. Super complex without being over bearing in any aspect of the beer, truly world class. Thank you for sharing.

Cloudy, amber and with a big head. Fun aroma - woody, winey, apricot, a little funky. Rich, intense taste. Full body. Vinous notes, wood, with light alcohol, all kinds of spicy, honeyed complexity. Sweet citrus notes and light pepper, and of course a little noble rot accent. Very complex. Just the slightest bit of tartness late. You don’t have beers this good very often.

There’s almost a white wine-like mustiness of grapes in the nose along with pleasant spicy, peppery and woody notes and plenty of tropical and citrus fruits. Hazy wet straw coloured body is topped by a generous and lasting, fine bubbled white head that leaves some lace on the sides of the glass. Flavour offers everything the aroma suggests and blends them all so well. Very refined. Wonderful interplay of various fruit flavours, some light grainy and herbal notes and the light spiciness especially in the long finish. Medium body with pleasantly strong but soft-bubbled carbonation. Really soft and enjoyable. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle. Merci Martin!

750ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden/orange with a short frothy head. Very woody on the nose with lots of citrus fruit and some pepper. Woody and sappy on the palate with a little barnyard and some tree sap, grapefruit and sourness. Fuckin’ fantastic.

Bottle shared by Luk13 &/or Julien at our big JP tasting. Thanks for visiting guys! Labeled a "strong ale" but easily reviewed as a barrel aged saison, Dulcis Succubus poured with a nice, clean 1.5 finger head on top of a light amber, copper tinted color. I got wine, oak, and what seemed to be a whisky-like note on the nose. Taste included tons of oak, dry grape, and vanilla which all seemed to linger on past the finish. Some mustiness, brett, and a little pepper are present as well. This beer was one of the highlights of the tasting we had and I could easily drink a bottle to myself. Love the label too.
