Whatup14 (941) - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 22, 2015
En fût au Saint-Bock. Couleur orangée voilée, faible mousse beige. Arôme de houblon floral, agrumes, orange amère. Goût de malt, houblon résineux, amertume moyenne-faible. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen.

Spab (2708) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2015
On tap at Volo. Pours a lightly cloudy golden orange colour with large whiteish head with solid retention. Aroma has some bright fruitiness, white pepper sort of spice, yeast and wheat. Taste is cracker, apple/pear, citrus and peppery spice. Dry finish. Unusual IPA but nice.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color with creamy head. Nice aroma, fruity, some sweet oranges, mango, tropical fruit, candies. Surprisingly, there is almost no malt flavor, bit there are traces of chemicals. Strong bitterness, but dubious hop qualities; some gasoline in the final.
Weird; maybe the keg is off.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some citrus zest, and crackery malt. Flavour brings out tangy citrus hops upfront, with some piney, and a crispy biscuity malt backbone. Well-balanced, with a lovely tanginess that shines. Very good.

Draft - Light toast and malts and some peppery sweetness. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Perfume, malts and some spice. Very perfumy, lightly herbal and sweet. Odd for sure.

Half growler (946ml) filled less than 48h ago and bought at the TDD shop. Aroma: Citrus, exotic fruits, floral, spices, tobacco. App: hazy peaches color with small white head. Taste and palate: Medium body, average + carbonation, lots of spices in mouth, bitter finish. Overall: Didn’t like that much the spices/tobacco aroma. I did enjoy the bitter finish though. Much more complex than traditional IPA’s.
