Decent. Clear orange pour with no head or lacing. Some citrus, malt and resin, but nothing in particular stands out here. Soft carbonation. Tap at volos.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Volo. Initially was getting significant yeast, and then the hops kicked in and it was OK for an IPA. Quaffable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a pale yellow with a bit of white head. Smell is citrus and grass hops. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with average carbonation. Taste is a bitter kick, then a slight bitter and sweet aftertaste. It’s ok, but missing some spice and lacking in bitterness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
November 19, 2011 -500ml bottle at Volo. Pours hazy amber with a huge and lasting plug of off-white creamy/foamy head (4+). Smells funky (bretty?) - like a "wild" extremely dry tripel - floral, some alcohol, sweet fruity malt, and a hint of grassy/zesty "C" hop pungency. Taste follows, maybe a bit of brandy, intensely floral; a real hybrid, but more Belgian than west coast IPA (7+). Average body, sharply carbonated, a longish slightly sour funky/floral dry bitter finish. Really really good stuff.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line :
This quenching India Pale Ale presents plenty of citrus fruit and peaches in a dry and stylish mouthfeel.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sheet of foam mounts the misty blond-amber.
-Malts offer light honey and crisp cereals.
-Hop bitterness is resinous and peppery.
-Carbonation appears higher than usual because residual sugars are lower than average for the style.

[4440-20120602] 500mL bottle. Sweet fruity malt aroma. Clear, amber orange body with medium-body creamy off-white head. Bitter fruity hops flavour has a long bitter aftertaste. Medium body is fairly bitter. Good, interesting. (7/3+/7/4/15) 3.6

2012-06-02. Crisp amber body with a nice foamy beige head. 3+ Interesting flavour, modest hops and bitterness, odd flavour from the hops, sort of citrusy and sort of a floral character, very light resin and leafy touches, the melange of all of these makes for an interesting combination. Bitterness grows pleasantly throughout the glass. 7+ Smooth average plus bodied palate. Modest hop aroma, light leafy touches, floral whispers. 7+ Not entirely sure what to make of it, the hop profile is different from what I expected but I am glad we opted for a full bottle as it finished off our session at Wvrst rather nicely. Bottle at Wvrst, Toronto

hazy amber/orange colour. hoppy aroma :pinecones and citrus but i do get some nutmeg or something else in this brew as well. Hoppy flavour with a bitter leafy note. Although this is a good beer they are better with their belgian styled beers.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium, thick cream-coloured head over slightly hazed foxy-orange to red-amber beer. Strangely enough, the caramel comes out first, the citrussy hops coming behind rather hesitantly. Somehow, bit gassy smell. Very bitter, rather indifferent bitterness with some citrussy compontents. Finish, however, with harsh, metallic to medicinal flavours. Caramel is overwhelmed in the taste. Hopresin content gives a wry, dry-out effect. Warming up, rosewater enters as the only sweeter flavour. Medium bodied, quite slick. Aftertaste, certainly after some warming, yields (running) cheesy hopflavours. Despite the above, somewhat negative comments, the beer remains fairly drinkable and certainly far from unpleasant. J’aime le nom - bien trouvé!
