750 ml bottle bought at Dépanneur La Duchesse d’Aiguillon (in Quebec City) on February 6, 2014. Blonde misty, small head. Slightly sour rye aroma, slightly fruity wheat. Light fruity taste of wheat, a little sour, bitter grapefruit. A pretty good assembling!

Lightly orangey sour with a pale head. Aroma is mixed citrus peel, flowers, passion fruit, stone fruits. Light bodied, lightly funky Andes fruity on the palate with a fairly dry finish. Taste is citrus zest, floral & earthy hops.

[7687-20150919] Tap. Light citrus skins and mild biscuit grains aroma. Hazy, pale orange tan body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Lightly bitter grains and funky yeast flavour. Medium body. Tasty. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

[Draught at Bar Hop 2] Pours a very hazy yellow with a small semi-lasting frothy white head. Really nice aroma of sour apple and lemon, wheat, grain, yeast and light lactic notes. Flavour follows, tart and fruity. Average bodied. I really liked this.

An exceptional sour. Has sour fruit notes as expected, lemon tartness and some funk. Has nice bitter yest flavours. Had to convey but it’s subtle and delicious.

750ml capped bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that settles to leave no lacing on the glass. Aroma is pleasant with some lemon and yeasty notes and a bit of funk. Taste is a citrus hop bitterness with a lemony sourness and a malty sweetness with some more funk going on. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. A well balanced and tasty brew that suits the style well.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice sweet sour cherry with light Brett, light lactic notes, light fruity esters, light and smooth. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light ground cherry, light buttery notes, grapeskin, a bit of lemon, interesting. On tap at vices et versa.

This is spectacular. Dusty, woody and slightly musty with an old book and leather aroma..sourness is evident and tart with light acetic aftertaste. Mild grainy sweetness with lemony citrus notes, a pinch of spice and quite floral with tons of yeast flavour. Sourness is heavy and welcome with lingering barn notes, wood and earthen flavours.

Tap at Bar Hop’s new place on St Peter, Toronto. Opaque darkish yellow with small off-white head. Extremely sour, fermented apples in old wooden boxes in a dusty basement. Sweet, slightly sugary, really sour, tart taste. Full, sticky in the mouth. Slightly grainy, drying finish.
