mabel (1619), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 9, 2008 [1448-20080531] Tap. Yeasty bread and a hint of seaweed malt aroma. Hazy, red amber body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Strong yeasty sourdough flavour has a hint of grassy hops. Medium body. Interesting but boozy.
(@ Mondial; Montreal, QC) LadySusan (360), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada Aug 8, 2008 On tap at Vices & Versa. The color is amber with a beige head. The aroma and taste is of hops with just the right amount of malt added on. The finish of this is a nice bitter taste, like an I.P.A. should be.
Une brasserie à découvrir. robinvboyer (981), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jun 5, 2008 Aroma has loads of hops, smells like a mix of american, and english hops. a very nice full hop aroma. Flavour is full bodied, and a good malt backbone adds to the beer. A nice dry bitter finish, a very solid IPA. jerc (3103), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 4, 2008 2008-05-31. Dark amber body with a modest beige head. (3+) Caramel touched resiny hops in the aroma. (6+) Modest bitterness throughout, malty base, light caramel, resiny finish. Average plus palate. Pleasant hoppy brew could use more citrus notes to go with the resin for me. On tap, Mondial, Montreal, 3T
