COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Not a bad IPA, just missing a bit of something, Way better on tap. Bitterness is not overpowering, but again not much either. A beer that can be enjoyed any time, but do try it on tap if you can

Dirty orange with small to medium head. The beer doesnt have an intensive aroma. Still I can sense typical mango, pomelo zest fruity notes with some white grapes, sponge cake and sugar. Taste is quite dry with a medium strong bitterness. Doesn’t last a lot. Finish is a bit earthy like citrus seeds and some little zest. Overall doesn’t bite but it is refreshing and pleasant to drink.

Dorée/orangée, voilée, avec un col de mousse blanche. Nez de houblon, d’agrume et résineux. Goût houblonné principalement herbacé, de zeste de pamplemousse et légèrement caramélisé.

Bottle smuggled back from The Republic of Quebec, shared with Todd. Fairly clear light yellow with a decent head. Bready lightly sweet maltiness with some earthy pine and citrus. Nice dry maltiness but could really use some more hopping imho.

375ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of skullgeorge. Hazy orange color with off white head. Hoppy aroma, citrusy fruity, orange, malty caramel. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Very good brew. Pours a bright golden orange with a heavy off white head, tons of lacing. The aroma is very fruity with a pinch of pine and a decent caramel and toasted malt base. Well balanced hops to malt. Nice tart grapefruit, pineapple and tropical fruits are light. Pine is light but quite resinous on the finish. Bitterness is moderate and lingers for a little bit. Nice brew.

Bottle from Wine Emporium, Newstead, 260615. Super carbonated and lively in the glass. Piney aromas fill the nose. Takes a while for the head to settle. Golden colour appears beneath the foam. Slightly resinous but not overly hoppy. Just the way I like it.

The nose features grapefruit and citrus accents on a light orange/brown body with a soft off-white head. This is a refreshing and fresh tasting IPA. Taste elements include floral and citrus hops, light, sweet malt and a softening hint of melon. The medium to high carbonation is appropriate and helps create a zesty and fresh taste profile. The body is a classic light to medium IPA texture and the balances extend to the end of the taste experience. Well done.

I think it’s trying to be an APA blended with Belgian influences. It certainly works well!

Wow, cette IPA du Trou du Diable est vraiment excellente, parfaitement équilibrée entre le coté sucré des fruits et l'amertume du houblon qui finalisse chaque gorgées, vraiment impeccable ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
