January 12, 2015 - on draught at Bar Hop. Hazy pale gold with an average off-white head. Aroma - quite clean and crisp - heather ’n honey, definite noble bitterness with some light mineral character (7-). Taste - would be a good intro to craft beer for your die-hard Blue or Canadian drinkers - very light grassy bitterness, plenty of sweetness to soften the flavour hit for swill drinkers, but still quality - could use MORE grassiness for me, but I’m not the target audience. Average body, slightly slick, mild carbonation, quick finish with plenty of honey sweetness in the finish - real damned honey.

600 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a thick, creamy, white head. Grainy aroma with citrus, grass and yeast. Sweet citrus flavour with grain, yeast and a mildly bitter, dry, grassy, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

A really solid pils. Pours a light yellow. Aromas are lightly toasted grains, creamy and fruity. Light palate. Light grains and hops. Good stuff.

[Draught at Bar Hop] Pours a hazy pale yellow-green with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is sweet and grassy, with fresh peas, honey and grain. Flavour of grassy hops, peas, honey and fruit. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Medium bodied. Nothing wrong with this, just not in the mood. 14

Bottle conditioned, slightly hazy light amber pour with an average , creamy white head that is mostly lasting. Light hoppy aroma of citrus-white grapefruit, cut hay with a touch of honey. Lightly bitter sweet flavor through and through with a touch of earthiness. Light medium duration. Fizzy carbonation with a nice clean earthy feel. Will definately try this again. Cheers!

750ml bottle from Pasquier. Aroma: honey, lemon, cereals, spices. Quite herbacy too. App: Hazy straw with small frothy head. Nice lacing. Taste and Palate: medium body, light sweetness, average carbonation. Light long and dry bitter finish. Complex Pilsener. Overall: Not a big fan of Pilsener but did enjoy this one because of the honey aroma and the nice bitter finish. Could be a good introduction to craft beer for non craft beer drinkers since it’s easy to drink but at the same time, more complex than the traditional commercial beer.

375 ml bottle @home. 15-12-2013.
BBD: 09-12-2013.Out of date for one year.
In short: herbal citrusy beer. A bit off.
Pours some hazy hay colour, with little white head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Grassy, herbal, some sweet aromas, along with subtle tart ones. Light body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is quite sweet, spicy, herbal, some citrusy. A bit weird off flavours, among some "canadian" malty taste.

Will try to have this one again in proper condition.

I think this is a little over-rated, but still a nice pilsener. Yellow body, white head and nice lacing. Cereal aroma, but a touch of hops in the flavour. Quaffable.
