Tap at Beachwood Seal Beach. Clear golden pour, medium white head. Nose is doggy, ripe, animal. Funky lemon verbena and chemical. Taste is spritzy, lemon verbena, sugar, odd starchy stickiness. Not so great. Disappointing.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Pale malt aroma, yeast, white pepper, and some spicy hops and phenols. Apple and pear esters, too. The flavor has a dry malt profile to it. Cracker, some bread, and white pepper. Notes of yeast and apple, some grainy pear sweetness. Nice spicy and floral hop notes.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale golden pour with a thick white head and a bit of light haze. The aroma is lovely. Light honey and a bit of clean spiciness. A fresh bread/crackery malt component and some really peppery spiciness. Lean malt base and some nice crisp spice. A bit of pear ester and a touch of apple as well. Very lean and dry with a nice minerally bitterness. Dry and lovely.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Bar Volo. Cloudy deep yellow, lacey. A tad funky aroma. A dirty blonde. Carbonation is set on high side, still very drinkable blonde somewhat table Belgian ale. A pleasure on a spring day.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a light straw golden yellow with a small white top. Aroma is cereal malts with a sweet yeasty profile. Taste is nicely delicate with light malts, dry yeast. Such a unassuming beer that you don’t know you love it until it’s done.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden yellow with lots of white head and lots of lacing. Smell is citrus, grass, and a slight sweetness I can’t quite place. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with good carbonation. Taste is a soft bitterness that rises and falls along with a bit of spice. Aftertaste has a pretty sharp cutoff. Good table beer, and eminently drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[4436-20120602] Bottle. Mild cardboardy yeast aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Light grassy yeast flavour. Light-medium body has a bit of a dry finish. Good, drinkable, nothing really stands out -- ha ha, I wrote down ’beertrueze’. (6/4/7/3/14) 3.4
