[1480-20080601] Tap. Buttery toasted caramel aroma. Clear, dark amber brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Creamy buttery booze flavour has more sweet smooth caramel notes. Medium body. Average.
(4T @ Mondial; Montreal, QC)

A generous copper ale with a thick light moka head. One word...buttery! Biscuitty malt also come through with strawberry. In mouth, a very fruity scotch ale, with Graham cracker and berries in finale. Some maple notes in residual. A bit thin considering its 9%. On tap at Brouhaha.

Draught@ Mondial 2008. Carmel/Deep Brown with cream head. Almost un-carbonated with strong alcohol flavour. It was part of the 15e series and I felt it was one of the less impressive entries. An average scotch ale.

2008-06-01. Dark brown body with a modest tan head. (3+) Aroma of dusty earthy malt, mild caramel undertones. (7+) Similar flavour, earthy notes, sweet caramel malt finishes drier with a tangy touch to the caramel and malt. Average plus palate. (3+). Decent. On tap, Mondial, Montreal, 4T
