On tap at La Souche. A nice, hazy golden orange with a thick, resilient white head. Smell is dusty, old, fruity. Flavor is orange, pineapple, mango, pear. Obvious belgian yeast Finish is extremely yeasty, old, dusty, and a nice touch of citrusy bitterness. Body is light. Carbonation might be a bit too aggressive. Pretty good!

On tap at GCBF. Pours a yellow brown with light head. Aromas of yeast, bananas, and cloves. Flavors of white pepper, yeast, cloves, and some bubblegum. Typical Dupont style saison flavor though quite dark.

Sampled at the GCBF. Aroma: Very light tabac, nasal clearing ammoniaesque saison scent, daffodils. Hue: Hazy light amber, light head that remains. Taste: Beautiful mix of tart and sweet. I’m loving saisons more and more, and I’m a pretty average guy in the palate department... could this style be the next IPA? Finish is a bit sweeter than average.

Hazy light tan/blonde. The aroma is light and spicy. The palate has light fruitiness and a hint of spice. A fairly refreshing saison, nicely done.

Aroma mild spice, citrus, mild clean hop hints, touch of wheat. Crisp pleasant nose.7+
Appearance pours as bright amber with medium snowy top.3+.
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Hoppy crisp , clean with zesty wheat character. Cereal feel. Neat brew.

@Mondial de la Bière 2012, Montreal - hazy dark blond beer with a little foam left; yeasty and brett-like aroma; medium-bodied and gently sour; quite dry and long fruity acidic finish; notes of hay - fresh and enjoyable

Mondial de la bière 2012 - Bière légèrement voilée, d’un beau doré profond et où flotte un mousseux col blanc laissant une épaisse mousse au verre. Des arômes très "saison" avec des notes de fleurs, d’ananas et de céréales brassicoles. Légèrement amère avec une pointe d’acidité bien typique. Plutôt légère, lisse et doucement effervescente, elle se termine sur de longs arômes.

Pours straw with lots of lacing. Up front lots of lemon with good pepper finish. Really nice!
