Sample, at the Mondial de la bière, savoured on June 4 2010; eye: yellowish, hazy, no effervescence, tiny white head; nose: spices, cardamom, pepper, floral hops, light perfume, herbal; mouth: spices, cardamom, pepper, floral hops, light perfume, herbal, finale in pepper with presence of spices and herbal-floral, medium-full body, good carbonation, slight astringency, slick texture; overall: quite good FRANÇAIS Échantillon, lors du Mondial de la bière, savourée le 4 juin 2010; œil : jaunâtre, voilée, pas d’effervescence, petite mousse blanche; nez : épices, cardamome, poivre, houblon floral, léger parfum, herbacée; bouche : épices, cardamome, poivre, houblon floral, léger parfum, herbacée, finale en poivre avec présence d’épices et d’herbacée-florale, corps moyen-corsé, bonne carbonatation, très légère astringence, texture coulante; en résumé : bien bon

Sample at Vice et Versa in Montreal. A wolf in sheeps clothing. Pours a standard light hazy gold with decent off white head. Aroma is almost nondescript, faintly sweet and floral. Flavour makes up for it. Honeyed sweetness mixed with papaya, citrus, yeast...very pleasing. Finish lingers well. Excellent.

Draught at Churchkey. Amber/brown color, huge solid white head and a solid curtain of lacing. Aroma of white pepper and hay. Taste is an odd combination of sour and bitter with some gun metal, perhaps overhopped, or perhaps an infection. I’ll have to try this one again, either from the bottle, or closer to the source, to see if this was just a problem with this batch.

Draft @ Oktoberfest des Québécois in Mascouche. Cloudy blonde body with a thin but fluffly head. Aoma full of citrus, bananas & other sour fruits. medium bodied. Very refleshing. Really good season.

Bue en fût mais j’espère tellement que ça sera embouteillé un jour. Excellent Saison, grainy and cerealish, lemony and herbal/grassy hoppiness. Very well balanced, very crisp, great medium-light body. Virtually flawless beer. An instant classic with a catchy/funny name. Again, this brewer does it so right...

Verres de dégustation, au Mondial et à la Fête Bières et Saveurs. Arômes de houblons très fruités, touche de levure (pain frais). Robe blonde et trouble, effervescence moyenne et légère mousse. Très phénolique et houblonnée (raisins, citron, pêches), la bière montre un côté aromatique très bien développé. On retrouve également une touche de malt céréalier. Finale bien sèche et moyennement amère. On note également une touche citrique et une pointe d’alcool. Une très bonne saison à l’américaine.

Several 5 oz pours at brewers fest in Shawinigan. Light gold pour with fluffy white head. Aroma is a beautiful mix of stonefruits, honey, some herbs - coriander and spicy yeast. Taste is just sweet enough with a dry, refreshing finish just like a saison should be. Palate is lively with carbonation and quite enjoyable. The best beer of the night.

Sampled at the 2010 VT Brewers Fest - Poured a hazy orange amber in color with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity (peach, pear?) with plenty of spicy yeast. Flavor is also pretty fruity... the stone fruits dominate... with the spicy yeast and a mild sourness from the Brett. One of the better Saisons that I have had lately.
