Bottle share at CBC Clerkenwell at Paidraig’s 2.5K, thanks to Paul! As ’Le Trou du Diable Saison du Tracteur’, 6%, bottled April 2015. Hazy orange, still, very big foamy white head. Aroma is light, apple notes, touches of caramel, quite airy. Body is medium to light, tingly carbonation, quite foamy. Taste is tonic water, pale biscuits, dried flowers, some caramel sweetness, papery dryness. Not bad.

Draught, sample tray at Cafe Sara. Hazy golden body, lacing rings down the glass from a small white head. Grapefruit and ripe fruits on the nose. Taste of blossom fruity cocktail added by yeasty fruitiness and mid-dry citrus shells to the ending. Soft carbonated. Fine drinkability. A fresh and tasty saison (Oslo 11.12.2015).

Bottle 60cl. Thick off white head of medium retention with a bit of lacing. Hazy orange body of medium carbonation. Aroma of pine desinfectant and apricot, taste is the same. Not sure if a bad batch, but quite disappointing.

Bottle shared at Craft. It pours hazy deep gold with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is fresh, bready, doughy, cereal, mild, toasted grain, nougat, straw, hay and lightly toasted sugars. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, toasted grain, minerals, grassy, straw, bread, lemon peel, hint of banana and cracked white pepper with a bone-dry finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Well-rounded and very drinkable. Good work.
