Bottle at home picked up at Mile High. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a frothy white head and great lacing. Minerals, straw, bright lemons, grass, somewhat herbal, light spice, yeast, and cereal in the aroma. Taste is big grassy, dough, light pepper, some tart lemons, somewhat chalky, biscuit, and nice straw notes with a semi-bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Clean, semi-tart and effervescent. Nice stuff.

I’m not sure how I never rated this - I’ve had it enough times. This is excellent. Comes together with great hay. Pours cloudy golden with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness, some citrus. Some peel, excellent balance. Tap at Churchkey.

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, citrus, toast, earth, light fruits, honey. Taste of citrus, grass, earthy yeast, spices, and a dry finish

375 ml bottle from the LCBO. Appearance: Pours a very hazy yellow with gobs of white head that fades very fast. Aroma: Pine, air fresheners, flowers, cut grass, lemon and lime. Flavours: Lime, lemon, grass, some hops. Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated and thin. Overall: There were some great aromas coming of this one. So much going on with the grassy floral notes and the hints of citrus. The flavours mimicked the aromas. Again, lots going on.

Spina @ Eurhop 2014. Chiara con torre di schiuma. Pastosa, abbastanza secca, una puntina d’acido. Spezie.

Pours an opaque light straw colour with a medium sized white head. Minimal carbonation. Aromas are lemon zest, light Belgian yeast, hints of white pepper. From the bottle I am also getting a bit of herbs and toffee. You can see visible thick floaters in the bottle. Dumping those into the glass now. Some grassiness now on the nose. Nice light bodied, little bit crisp, little bit creamy mouth feel. Tastes are Belgian yeast, but lightly so, citrus, lemon grass, and a nice peppery tingle on the swallow. This is a great representation of the style, and would certainly quench my thirst and refresh after hot work in the farm fields.
