Drank on day 2 of the 2010 Mondial de la Bière. Misty honey blonde, average head. Aroma of grass and spice dry and malty, with notes of citrus juice. Explosion of medium dry grass, hints of grapefruit juice, aftertaste sour but which become dry. Wah, like we needed another good Quebec made saison!
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 SlovakSniper (2096) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 2, 2012
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 craftycarl21 (2025) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 16, 2010
On tap at Vermont Brewfest 2010. Pours a hazy orange with a nicely sized white head. Aroma is delicate and enticing, with good notes of yeast, spice, and nectarine. Flavor is fantastic-- apricot and peach come through profoundly, with dough and coriander providing an excellent backdrop. Palate holds high effervescence that suits the beer beautifully, and finishes crisp and clean. Very good saison.

4oz from tap at Mondial 2010
Appearance : Hazy yellow, foamy.head. Nice looking.
Aroma : Crisp hops, yeasty esters. Nicely fruity and a little bit tart.
Taste : A bit mineral. Yeasty and crisp. Quite fruity. Finish is hoppy and yeasty.
Overall : This one consistently got better as I was drinking it. I don’t know if its me getting used to some flavour or is it because it warmed up. I liked the light tartness. Pretty crisp and very fruity. A very nice Saison.

Several 5 oz pours at brewers fest in Shawinigan. Light gold pour with fluffy white head. Aroma is a beautiful mix of stonefruits, honey, some herbs - coriander and spicy yeast. Taste is just sweet enough with a dry, refreshing finish just like a saison should be. Palate is lively with carbonation and quite enjoyable. The best beer of the night.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 VTHopHead (1389) - Barre, Vermont, USA - AUG 1, 2010
Sampled at the 2010 VT Brewers Fest - Poured a hazy orange amber in color with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity (peach, pear?) with plenty of spicy yeast. Flavor is also pretty fruity... the stone fruits dominate... with the spicy yeast and a mild sourness from the Brett. One of the better Saisons that I have had lately.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2012 En fût à l’Oktorberfest des Québécois. En fût au Mondial à Montréal. 7%.
